This is a nice approach from Honda, who you would associate with handmade design. The idea behind it is inspiration is everywhere. I like how in the video they take you through the long and hard process of creating the handmade structure.
I recently met illustrator Jessica Wilson, i enjoyed seeing her range of work. The main illustration that stood out to me was Chit Chat, where she teamed up with Liv Bargman also an illustrator. They carry out a conversation visually, jess started the conversation with hello, it then goes to Liv and so on. I like the way the conversation is visual and how it takes time to know what the next person will say. It’s exciting to know they both are considering making a book of the illustrations.
This is installation by duo Jiggery Pokery ( Anna and Lauren ) illustrating the importance of fun in the work place, it was the winner of a Don’t panic competition. Their work includes exhibitions, set design, film and more. Their work is mainly hand crafted, this is one of the reason i like their work, they use bits of pieces that aren’t extremely pricey and make something unique and visually exciting. I had the luck to take part in workshop directed by them, creating 3D type with the theme of fantasise, it was eye opening experience which i thoroughly enjoyed.
This was a project i had for uni, i had to tell a story through photographs. I choose to do my project on fox hunting, the idea behind the photographs was to humanise foxes, these are a few of my favourites.
This was a doodle i started a work to pass the time, i then done it as a screen print. I really enjoyed experimenting with screen print, i like mixing different colours and not knowing what the end result will look like .
A very clever way of advertising by Tipp-ex, not much they haven’t thought of , but give it a try.
This was a self written project i done to be exhibited at our end of year show. I made a big surf bag, as a girl can never have to big of a bag. I drew the design and then screen printed it choosing vibrant colours. Then photographed the bag and created a poster to advertise the product i created.
This was designed by Gonçalo Campos, titled “Dedo message board”. This message board has a very fun and positive element to it, great for adults and kids to play with. It’s simple all you do is run your fingers through it, to leave a trail or message.
